Sustainable Unlimited Income

1. Commission Income: A licensed agent in MetLife earns commission on premium as per the commission structure of Beema Samiti. The commission earning in first year of the payment of premium is high and can be earned up to maximum of 10 years from a single policy sold. Commission earning in the career is sustainable as well as lucrative. There are numbers of examples of agents earning more than 10 Lakhs in a single month and have been seen as sustainable and consistent income for all average active agents.

2. Life Persistency Bonus: An agent is eligible to get additional income up to 40% earned in a year based on continuity criteria of the policies sold by the agent. This is a lucrative income platform for quality business performance.

3. Future Fund: MetLife Nepal intends support the retirement of the agent with the future fund. An agent who has an active regular association with MetLife for minimum 6 months is eligible for future fund. MetLife reserves an additional future fund up to 5% of the total income as and is deposited in agents account in Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) on monthly basis. Future Fund are planned to support the agents on their retirement and emergencies.

4. Other Incomes: An agent in MetLife is provided with abundant opportunity with incomes as cash benefit for qualifying in Leaders Club, Monthly Record.

1. Sales Tools: To bring uniform, professional and ethical sales practice MetLife provides different sales tools to the agent which eventually eases the sales process for an agent as well as bring satisfaction in customer experience.

  • PNA (Personal Need Assessment): An effective sales tool to assess life insurance need of potential customer
  • Exclusive Sales Diary: A sales diary developed by MetLife to keep trach of sales management and planning.
  • Mobile APP: Comprehensive mobile apps to facilitate agents digitally.
  • DAP (Distribution Advantage Platform): A digital Learning platform developed by MetLife Global containing thousands of learning videos to gain scientific and professional sales learning.
  • KITE: A digital of Life Insurance Policy processing app developed by MetLife including different sales tools.
  • MARS: A digital platform developed by MetLife for a prospective agent with end-to-end processing of Agents License and Basic Training.
  • Presentation Pad: A structured printed paper note developed by MetLife to explain benefit of MetLife to customers in written manner.
  • Reference Card: A card tool developed by MetLife to encourage customer to provide further lead to an agent.

Multiple Rewards & Recognition

1. Monthly Contests and Campaign: Different kinds of recognition are rewarded to an agent in MetLife on a regular basis.

  • I Am Active Campaign: An agent who is persistent on regular production of minimum business qualifies for I Am Active Campaign and different rewards in Cash or Kind are awarded to the agent in the category.
  • Monthly Contests: An agent is provided with opportunity to test and qualify in different challenges as monthly contest where the agents are rewarded with cash, kind rewards and recognitions.
  • Tour programs: Agents are regularly refreshed with tour program to different domestic and international venues. Different fun filled programs, recreation activities, team building, and leadership development activities are exercised during the tour program to make it productive and memorable. Some tour programs provide inclusion of family members to the agent to make aware of the disciplined professional work environment of MetLife.
  • Learn & Fun Program: Learn & Fun program is designed for learning skills and knowledge through different fun filled exercises for an agent.

MetLife provides different benefit to loyal agents of MetLife regarding security of their life during the working life, fund for old age and educational financing to the agents of MetLife through the following benefits,

  1. Insurance Coverage: An agent with specific business during a calendar year is provided with any cause death benefit coverage up to a maximum of 10,00,000 under Group Term Life Insurance based on their previous year’s performance
  2. Scholarship: MetLife Foundation has established a scholarship program to assist employees’ children who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs. Renewable scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice. The program is administered by Scholarship America, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship and tuition reimbursement programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.
  3. Future Fund: MetLife Nepal intends support the retirement of the associates with the future fund. 1. Clubs Membership

  • VIP Club: A specific business during a calendar year are rewarded, recognized and registered in VIP Club, these club members are services with privilege and are also provided the facility of VIP room in MetLife Corporate Office.
  • Elite Club: A specific business during a calendar year are rewarded, recognized and registered in Elite Club, these club members are services with privilege and are also provided the facility of VIP room in MetLife Corporate Office.
  • Associate Life Advisors’ Club: Producers of quality business with specific amount of insurance are trained for High Net worth Training and are regularly groomed and guided under Associate Life Advisors’ Club.
  • Digital Club: Agents and Field Managers who processes and execute a specific number business through digital platform are qualified in digital club and are invited to digital Quarterly Digital Conference.
  • Consultants’ Club: An intermediate agent who completes selling of specific number of policies are provided with consultants’ training and enrolled in Consultants’ Club for regular development.

2. Teamwork Platforms: MetLife provides agents to work in team and learn from other associate agents in different Team,

  • Digital Team: Agents and Field Managers who processes and execute a specific number business through digital platform are qualified in digital club and are invited to digital Quarterly Digital Conference.
  • Maturity Recapture Team: A skillful team is trained and guided for servicing and are provided with opportunity to sell customers who have completed a cycle of Life Insurance Policies in MetLife.
  • Orphan Policy Service Team: A skillful team is formed to provide opportunity to experience servicing and up/cross sale through existing customers of MetLife.

MetLife Nepal offers the Life Insurance Agent Basic Training Programme (BTP) to all who want to be a Life Insurance Consultant.
